uniformed and plain clothes (both armed and unarmed) security officers
to meet
your specific
needs.
Uniformed Services:
There are two different categories of uniforms that M&G Security
can provide:
Professional Dress Uniforms
M&G Security provides a variety of uniforms in the professional
dress category. These include a variety of dress slacks or skirts,
dress
shoes, blouses
or dress shirts, ties, dress belts, and proper head wear. These uniforms
usually come in navy blue, dark brown or black depending on your
location. These uniforms provide a professional appearance for dealing
with the
public, etc.
Tactical Uniforms
M&G Security provides a variety of uniforms in the tactical
category. These uniforms include a variety of cargo/BDU style pants
(shorts
may be allowed
in hot weather), polo shirts, boots (steel toe if needed), heavy
duty service belts, and gloves and other accessories as needed. These
uniforms
provide
a "tactical work" appearance and allow the security officer
to perform their duties in a comfortable and appropriate manner.
M&G Security's uniformed Security Officers can provide five primary
services:
Deterrent
The presence of a uniformed security officer provides a substantial
deterrent to criminal or inappropriate activity at the location
they are working.
Observe and Report
A uniformed security officer observes activity, reports any criminal
or inappropriate activity to the proper authority, and documents
all information
in regards to the criminal or inappropriate activity.
Safety
A uniformed security officer assists in enforcing safety policies,
observing for safety hazards, ensuring proper safety equipment
is accounted for and
working, and takes appropriate action in an emergency.
Protect Persons & Property
Within the limits of local and state law, a uniformed security
officer will take all reasonable and necessary steps to protect
property and
people. This may include the apprehension of suspects and the use
of deadly force
when necessary.
Customized Services
M&G Security customizes guard orders for your location to include
locking a certain door at a set time, closing a facility at a set
time, checking
in visitors, checking in vehicles, searching vehicles, and any
other security related activity.
Plain Clothes Services:
In addition to our uniformed guards, we also offer Plain
Clothes and/or "undercover" Security Officers when
needed. Plain Clothes security officers perform the same duties as
uniformed security officers but with lower visibility.
Plain Clothes security officers may be used for a variety of different
situations and circumstances such as:
Retail Stores
Plain Clothes security may be used to blend in with regular shoppers
and help identify shoplifters and other problems.
Warehouses
Plain Clothes security may be used to break up employee theft rings
in warehouses and retail outlets. The plain clothes officer would
be used
to go "undercover" and gain knowledge of the thefts.
Office Buildings
Plain Clothes security may be used to provide an extremely professional
look. The "plain" clothes may consist of a sports coat,
dress shirt and dress slacks.
Low Income Housing
Plain clothes officers may be used to lower their visibility and
ensure that they don't become "targets" of gang members
etc.
Any other situation where low visibility or no visibility security is
needed.
M&G Security maintains an in depth and stringent hiring
process for all security officers. This hiring process includes drug
testing,
in
house
background checks, verification of previous employment, verification
of education, verification of home address, knowledge testing,
language testing,
safety orientation, general orders orientation and verification
of all credentials. M&G Security takes it's hiring process
very seriously
in order
to ensure that only quality, reliable and honest people are placed
in a M&G Security uniform.
